Bob Baker Day

Join us and OneHouse Arts (a contemporary art school for kids) at the Los Angeles State Historic Park (1245 N Spring St) to rejoice in Bob Baker Day, a free family-friendly festival!
Featuring puppet shows every hour on the hour, magic by Buster Balloon, performances by the Pacific Opera Project, music by The Hollow Trees, kids talent shows, activities, clowns, vendors and dance parties!

An open house event welcoming springtime in the gardens of the Velaslavasay Panorama with traditional and adventitious Slovakian activities.
A theatrical painted backdrop sets the tone as distant recordings from Bratislava play in the background; tour the exhibits, celebrate Veľká noc (Easter), witness a demonstration on kraslica—a painted, dyed or otherwise decorated blown egg, and adorn foliage with friends at Eastertime.

These events are made possible in part through support from the California Arts Council, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture and the Velaslavasay Panorama Enthusiast Society.
OneHouse Arts x Authentic Children Art Association holds an auction preview of 50 works recently produced by its students.

Visit the Velaslavasay Panorama and peruse a selection of the paintings up for auction in-person. View 50 of the large-scale paintings for sale, and another 50 purchasable works from the recent exhibition ‘Animal Encyclopedias’ — bold acrylic animal portraits from students ages 4 to 10. The auction of 100 original paintings will take place the following day on Ebay.
OneHouse Arts is an art space that combines the spirit of active research and experimentation with the cognitive developmental process of children. Authentic Children Art Association is a platform to discover and share authentic children art.
